i'd agree that thats a reason for GOW success... but none of my friends have traded it in and the two games that I see people playing now are crackdown and GOW... anyhow, i don't think that any game will feature "next gen" controls on the xbox 360 because it still has a standard control pad. In the realm of graphics GTHD wins hands down. However, forza is presenting itself as a more complete racing simulator. With the driving wheel and all the physics running in the background the game is going to be as close to racing as any game has ever been. It may not look as polished but the depth of gameplay and licensed cars will be incredible and I think that if you want a simulator and car entusiast community then Forza is the way to go. If you want a racer that looks good, get GTHD...
this game is looking so good. the art style is amazing and right now it looks like the best job of cell shading i've ever seen. this will sell well in japan and probably well in the US as well.
Not by the graphics. I will hands down concede the victory in the graphics devision goes to GTHD... but the victor in terms of simulation and functionality goes to FM2. The thousands of layers of decals and the real time physics tracking should make the experience as realistic as possible. The cars won't flip or blow up due to licensing agreements but the sheer amount of depth this game is going to offer is mind boggling... This along with armoured core 4 will keep my sim needs quelled fo...
if all these physics and AI gets into the final version i'm going to have a seisure of pure joy... from the way they keep describing the current build I see no reason to think that this game will not be the game of the year and blow gears of war out of the water!!

he mentioned something about being able to become more evil than the final boss. That is incredible I think. There really aren't any games where you can do that and actually have the story line change. Most of the time no matter how evil you act the main story line stays the same (oblivion?) This is something that I will be looking forward to.
He also seemed to imply that something really cool will be unveiled at GDC. Something about environments... so maybe we'll finall...

blue print... isn't that the point? when the service has to be offloaded to the producers then when the support dwindles they have not financial incentive to keep the servers running. There will probably be a lifespan on all PSN games because of this. It might be 2-3 years, but still... I can go back and play old xbox games online and the servers are still up... there might be no one playing, but I could go online and call one of my friends from back in seattle to have him get on... and ...
